Putain des Palaces

Opens with a sharp, almost soapy aldehydic burst that softens quickly into a powdery iris and rose heart — cool, slightly waxy, very classic in construction. The oriental base pulls it warmer as sandalwood and vanilla deepen the dry-down into something skin-close and faintly carnal, saved from sweetness by the iris's cool chalk. Projection is moderate and well-behaved; sillage lingers as a soft musk trail rather than a statement. Polished but knowing, with an undercurrent of deliberate sensuality — best for late evenings in cold weather, worn by someone who treats fragrance as punctuation.

Remarkable People

Opens with a sharp, peppery bite from the pink pepper that quickly bleeds into smoky incense — not church-heavy, more like embers cooling in cedar-lined air. The heart settles into a dry, rooty vetiver that anchors everything without going muddy. Projection is moderate and intentional; it doesn't announce itself across a room. The dry-down turns quietly skin-warm through musk and ambergris, leaving a faintly saline, resinous trail that lasts without clinging aggressively — an unhurried, deliberate finish.

— Cold-weather evenings, confident minimalists who want presence without performance.

You or Someone Like You

Opens with a cool, slightly bitter green tea that reads more watery than vegetal, softened almost immediately by a quiet lactonic milk note that keeps things from going sharp. The heart is a hushed jasmine — barely lifted, no indolic edge — sitting inside a cedar and sandalwood framework that reads pale and dry rather than creamy or rich. Projection stays close to skin throughout; sillage is minimal. The dry-down is almost nothing: white musk and a breath of wood, clean and forgettable in the best way — Made for warm-weather days when you want to smell like a thoughtful absence rather than a statement.

Rien

Cold leather and sharp incense dominate the opening — austere, almost medicinal, with the aldehyde adding a soapy metallic edge that keeps it from going purely animalic. The iris softens the heart without sweetening it, lending a powdery rootiness that grounds the civet's quiet funk. On the dry-down, civet and musk push forward with moderate projection and a dense, close-wearing sillage that lingers for hours without broadcasting. There's nothing approachable or easy here — it's confrontational in the best way — dark fall and winter wear for someone who prefers their perfume to feel like a statement.

Dangerous Complicity

Litchi opens things up with a juicy, almost syrupy brightness that keeps the jasmine and ylang-ylang from going full-on heavy florals — they stay plush and slightly narcotic rather than powdery or shrill. Vanilla arrives early and stays throughout, giving the heart a warm, skin-like sweetness. The dry-down is the best part: sandalwood and musk settle into a creamy, low-lying base with real staying power but restrained projection. Sillage is intimate rather than declarative — it pulls people in rather than announcing itself across a room. — A warm-weather evening fragrance for anyone who wants something sensual without being obvious about it.

Fat Electrician

Opens with a resinous jolt — elemi's sharp, citrusy-piney edge cutting through the dense smoke of myrrh before vetiver pulls everything into dark, earthy territory. The heart settles into something warmer and stranger: ylang-ylang adds a faintly rubbery floral note that somehow works, kept grounded by the vetiver's rootedness. The dry-down is where it earns its name — vanilla and musk turn the whole thing into a slow, slightly industrial sweetness, low and close to the skin with modest sillage. — Best in cold weather, on someone who dresses with intention and doesn't need to fill a room.

Fils de Dieu du Riz et des Agrumes

Rice and citrus open clean and slightly powdery — bergamot and grapefruit give it brightness without sharpness, while the rice note reads as a soft, steamed warmth rather than anything sweet or gourmand. Ylang-ylang surfaces in the heart but stays restrained, kept aquatic and airy rather than heady. Coconut milk nudges it tropical without tipping into sunscreen territory. The dry-down settles into sandalwood and musk, close to skin, quiet but persistent — moderate sillage that rewards proximity. — Best worn in warm weather by anyone who wants something effortlessly clean without smelling like laundry.

Like This

Warm, earthy pumpkin opens with a slightly raw, vegetal edge — not bakery sweet, more like flesh than spice. Neroli lifts it early, keeping it from going too heavy, while ginger adds a dry, almost medicinal bite that cuts the softness. The heart settles into powdery heliotrope, grounding things in a cool, almond-adjacent floral. Musk in the dry-down is skin-close and clean, with earthy notes keeping a faint dampness underneath. Projection is modest; sillage is intimate — this stays near the body — best worn in fall or early winter by anyone who wants cozy without smelling edible.
