Thierry Mugler Angel
What it smells like
The Scent File profile
Opens with a sharp bergamot and star anise bite that quickly collapses into one of perfumery's most recognizable hearts: a dense, almost synthetic caramel and chocolate layered over dark, earthy patchouli. The amber grounds everything without softening the edge. On dry-down it becomes warmer and more vanillic, but the patchouli never fully retreats — it keeps the sweetness from reading as simple dessert. Projection is massive, sillage borderline aggressive; one spray carries a room. — Best in cold weather, for someone who wants to be noticed before they arrive.
