What owners report has changed.
A Basenotes guide lists changes around 2010, 2018 and 2022, with the liquid growing paler each time. Fragrantica owners in 2019 called the bottles then on sale weak next to older ones, though others in the thread say it was never a strong performer.
Unless the report says the brand announced it, this comes from owners comparing bottles, not from the brand. Two bottles from different batches can smell different; check the batch code where you can.

Eight reviewers who know La Nuit de L'Homme compare the two: seven find it identical or closer to the older batches than what is sold now, and one calls it a hybrid with L'Homme. It is reported as strong and long lasting.
A retailer literally titles its listing "Riiffs Fareed... (YSL La Nuit De L'Homme Twist)" and an editorial review calls it "one of the closest and most impressive clones," estimating ~85% similarity.
Cardamom-lavender-coumarin axis tracks LNDLH closely; slightly sweeter dry-down than the YSL.
