Opens with a citrus snap — yuzu and green mandarin cut clean and sharp, sharpened further by juniper berry and pink pepper into something almost gin-like and bracing. Ginger adds a dry, warm edge rather than sweetness. The heart softens gradually as magnolia and rose surface, but they never go powdery — cedar keeps the whole thing anchored in dry wood. The dry-down is quiet musk and cedar, close to skin, modest in sillage. Projection is polite from the start; this wears intimate, not loud. — Spring and early summer mornings, anyone who prefers citrus-woody over floral-sweet.
